Endeavouring to promote the authentic message of Islam according to Quran&Sunnah

Mohammed Shahid

How reliable are the book or literature from ghair-salafi?

Is there any conflict/misunderstanding between Ahle Hadith and other jamaats with respect to interpretation of "Uloom al Quran" and "Uloom al Hadith"?

Can a Ahle Hadith/Salafi follow these books written by authors like Muhammad Taqi Usmani or Ahmed Von Denffer?

I don't know who is Ahmed Von Dneffer, but Mufti Taqi Usmani is a reputed Scholor, who is respected for his knowledge equally amonst the arabs & Ajams.
If somebody restrains himself from his works, he is depreaving himself from some of the greatest works done in Islamic Uloom.
As salamu'alaikum,

Who ever be the author or scholor,if their work and thinking is according to The Glorious Quran and Sunnah of Prophet (saw) and the practices of comapnions of Prophet (saw),they are acceptable and glorified.

The moment they contradict with the above cretrion, though they are from arab or ajam, there is no doubt their work should be given importance or acceptance.

I hope there is no other cretrion beside the above mentioned one,to judge the right or wrong.

And a true Muslim cannot blindly follow any person,as it will be he himself questioned on the day of qayamah. We need to respect our scholors, beside that we should have basic knowledge to judge them. This was the practice of sahaba akraam (rz).

JazakALLAH khair.
Walaikum assalam wr wb Shadaab bhai,

JazakAllah khair.
Thanks shadaab for this beautiful reply Who ever be the author or scholor,if their work and thinking is according to The Glorious Quran and Sunnah of Prophet (saw) and the practices of comapnions of Prophet (saw),they are acceptable and glorified."

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

There are lot differences between ahlul hadeeth/salafi and other jama'ats in terms of understanding of Quran and Sunnah.

1. When it comes to Ehkaam, they contradicts rules set by 'Aimma ahlusSunnah' when it comes to the execution of Quran and Hadees. The common rules are (a)Quran (b)Hadees (c)Ijma and (d)Qiyaas. If we closely check their books they juggle with the rules set by our Salafs and go on promoting sectionism.

2. They have strong element of Taqleed (blind following). Inspite of strong evidences of Quran and Hadees they follow purticular idealogy which will be in accordance to their Jama'at.

3. They are Munkirin of Quran and Hadees. Following few ayahs and few hadees and rejecting the others is a common practice of these Jama;ats, though they opine it as true understanding of Kitab and Sunnah. To prove their idealogy right they go to any extent, they, sometimes, reject the verses of Quran and clear statements of Hadees.

4. Sometimes following books of these jama'ats could make you a 'MUSHRIK' and 'BIDA'ATI' as their books are full with the stuff of false beliefs, the one who is

5.
In addition to my above comment, if one has enough knowledge of Quran and Hadees then he is recommended to go through with any kind of books no matter whether it is written by a salafi or by a non-salafi. And for those who don't know the basics of Usool and Uloom of Quran and Hadees then they should confined themselves with those books which are recommended by the Ulema of Aqeedah and must keep themselves away from reading books written by non-salafis.
Im contented with the answers given in this discussion. Hence closing the discussion.
